Isle of Man
The Isle of Man is a small British Crown dependency in the Irish Sea, situated between Great Britain and Ireland. Known for its rugged landscapes, dramatic coastlines, and green hills, it offers stunning views, especially from Snaefell Mountain, the island’s highest point. It has a unique culture with Celtic and Norse influences and its own language, Manx. The island is famous for the TT (Tourist Trophy) motorcycle race and the tailless Manx cat. Although not part of the United Kingdom, it has its own parliament, the Tynwald, the oldest continuously functioning parliament in the world. Key attractions include Castle Rushen, Peel Castle, and the historic Manx Electric Railway.
